Jonas Martin

Real estate runs deep in Jonas Martin’s family. A third generation realtor and developer, his passion for the industry was sparked early on by his grandmother, Olive Louise Martin, one of Canada’s first female realtors, along with his father Ross, a builder and agent, and his mother Joy, a designer and realtor. Growing up surrounded by conversations about building, design, and development gave Jonas a unique foundation in property development, financing, and sales from a young age.

Jonas began his career in 1988 as an Assistant Framer at Flower City Homes in Victoria, B.C. By 1992, he had become Sales Manager, achieving an impressive milestone by selling 32 units in just 30 days. In 1995, he founded Century Development Inc. in St. Catharines, Ontario, where he served as Owner and Project Manager. There, he mastered every stage of the development process from cost estimation and re-zoning to overseeing construction, rentals, sales, and navigating municipal approvals.

Licensed as a Realtor since 2003, Jonas has built a reputation in St. Catharines for his deep market knowledge, hands on experience, and dedication to his clients. Over the years, he has mentored new agents, ranked as a top performer, and even played a part in pioneering Scotiabank’s first no money down mortgage through a client relationship. Outside of real estate, Jonas gives back to the community by volunteering with various Niagara non profits.
